The First Friday Foundation has been bringing art to the streets and artists to the community since 2002.
A majority of Las Vegans know First Friday: a monthly event that showcases local artists, musicians, makers and more. The First Friday Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local arts, culture, and education.
For over twenty years, the Foundation has put significant effort into providing artistic opportunities for thousands of local artists and students in the Clark County School District through assemblies, contests, and income-based opportunities.
The First Friday Foundation extends its community outreach efforts well beyond the first Friday of each month, reaching into schools, senior centers, and community organizations throughout the valley.
Create platforms for emerging artists, support community connection, and bring artistic experiences to the community through outreach programs.
To constantly and emphatically seek, discover, inspire, and explore creativity in all its forms. To ignite the creative spirit that exists within, and defines us all, as human.
Partnerships with schools, youth groups, senior centers, ethnic and faith-based organizations, and nonprofits celebrating diversity through creativity.
